SSR Luxurious Coat Crewel Card Analysis

A gray graphic with Crewel on it loaded with text about the basics of this card

Basics
Crewel is a SSR Attack unit. His max HP is 9,991 and his max attack is 8,057.

Spells
His spell 1 is Aqua Wave for levels 1-9, and at level 10 it turns into Aqua Wave 2. His spell 2 is Leaf Shot 2 and later Forest Strike 2, and his spell 3 is Fire Shot 2.

Exam Rankings
How useful is this card gonna be in exams? Here's my rankings: for flora exams, I'd give this card a D; C for fire; and D for water.

Skills
For skills, he’s got crit chance, and he’s the second unit in-game to have this skill. Because he has a spell 1 that hits twice, he has no skills on spell 1.
On spell 3, he starts off with nothing, which infuriates me. Like, not only do you have to unlock his spell 3, but you HAVE to build it to get anything at all. At level 5, he gets a modest crit chance to allies for 1 turn, and at level 10 it’s for 3 turns.

DUO Magic + Buddy Bonuses
His DUO Magic Partner is Crowley, who gives him a minor HP + power boost. His other Buddies are Rook and Silver both with a minor HP boost.

Build Guide
In order to Groovy Crewel, you'll need to get him to power level 40 and vignette level 3. Groovying will cost 5 Dog Candy. You can get those in the same shop section as the other Groovy candy, or you can earn it from the Arcane Combat Drill 2 event. As for uncapping, he'll need 0-12 SSR Awakening Perfumes. Each uncap costs 3 Perfume, so the more copies you pull, you'll be using 3 less perfume.
Each spell needs 351 notepads, 253 textbooks, 111 grimoires, and 318,000 Thaumarks. Spell 1 needs these in blue items, spell 2 needs green, and spell 3 will need red items. In total, that's gonna cost 954,000 Thaumarks.
I would personally prioritize spell 1 over spell 3 for some reasons I’ll get into at the end of this segment, but it’s mostly because spell 1 is easier to build than 3.

Alternatives + Dupes
Let’s talk about alternate units in case Crewel decides not to come home, or if you want someone similar. My suggestions would be Dorm Uniform Sebek, Dorm Uniform Malleus, Ceremonial Robes Jack, and School Uniform Rook.

Final Thoughts
As you all know, I am a natural born hater and a petty bitch. I like that Crewel has crit chance. It’s a very good skill and it’s very rare. But I hate that you have to put a load of work into it to get it. Like compare him to Dorm Malleus. While yes, you do have to build Malleus to get it, he has it available on spell 1 at level 5. It’s an investment, but not as big as Crewel’s is. And Malleus is standard which feels like another personal slight. Crewel’s card is good, don’t get me wrong, but he’s definitely a card that requires a little more work than others. Whether that’s worth it to you or not is up to you.

Arcane Combat Drills with Crewel Event Guide

Intro So we are unfortunately back at it again at Krispy Kreme. If you’ve been here before you know I don’t like these events. If you’re new, now you know. Although I do think the battle map events from this point on are a little more manageable, I can’t say that it’s like. That much of an improvement. Or that it’s overall a better experience. I’ve already explained these events in detail before, so if you already know what’s up, you can skip the next section to see the details about the maps. If this is your first battle map event, well first off I’m so sorry, but second don’t worry, I’ll explain the mechanics so you know what’s going on.  Overview So this event has maps with tiles on them, and those tiles have a battle. If you’ve played through chapter 7, you’re already familiar with battle maps. If you haven’t, it’s basically just a glob of battles to get through with a final boss, Crewel, at the way end. In order to get to Crewel, you have to work your way across the batt...

SSR Apple Pom Jamil

Basics Jamil is a SSR Attack unit. His max HP is 8,754 and his max attack is 7,506. I'm sure no one's surprised to see that while his attack is far above average, because of that, his HP is below average. Like I said earlier, he’s one of the strongest cards in the game at this point. Spells His spell 1 is Flame Blast, his spell 2 is Leaf Shot 2 and later Forest Strike 2, and his spell 3 is Water Shot 2. Exam Rankings So, how does this card rank for exams? I'd give him a B for flora, D for fire, and C for water. Skills For skills, he’s got nullify freeze, power boost, power boost again, and damage cut. On spell 1 at level 1, he has a nullify freeze for allies for 1 turn. At level 5, he gains a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn, and at level 10, it maxes out at a modest power boost. On spell 3, he starts off with nothing. You gotta get him to level 5 for additional skills. And when you get him to level 5, he gains a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn, and at level ...

SSR New Years Rook Card Analysis

Basics Rook is a SSR Defense unit. His max HP is 16,400 and his max attack is 4,289. Rook has PHENOMENAL HP, being far about the SSR and all cards averages. He has the highest HP stat in the game, finally ending Clubwear Lilia’s reign. And like I’ve touched on before in this video, because one is super high, the other is pretty low. His attack is far below the SSR and all cards averages. It’s basically at the R card average for attack.   Spells His spell 1 is Aqua Wave, his spell 2 is Fire Shot 2 and later Flame Blast 2, and his spell 3 is Void Shot 2.   Exam Rankings When it comes to exams, I'd give this card a C for flora exams, B for fire, and D for water.   Skills For skills, he’s got resistance and power drain. On spell 1 at level 1, he has a minor resistance to caster for 1 turn. At level 5, it’s for 3 turns, and at level 10, it maxes out at modest resistance to caster for 3 turns. On spell 3, he starts off with a minor power drain on foe for 1 turn. At level...
