SSR Tsumsitter Malleus Card Analysis

A green graphic with Malleus on it going over all of his card details

Basics

Malleus is a SSR Defense unit. His max HP is 15,460 and his max attack is 4,575. Malleus’ HP is crazy, being wayyyyy above the SSR and all cards averages. His attack suffers because of that though, being below average in both of those categories.

Spells

His spell 1 is Aqua Wave, his spell 2 is Void Shot 2 and later Zero Ray 2, and his spell 3 is Fire Shot 2.
Exam Rankings
When it comes to exams, I'd give this card a D for flora exams, B for fire, and C for water.

Skills

For skills, he’s got HP regeneration, nullify freeze, and power boost. On spell 1 at level 1, he has a minor HP regeneration to caster for 3 turns. At level 5, it’s modest, and that’s as high as it goes. On spell 3, he starts off with a nullify freeze for caster for 1 turn. At level 5, it’s nullify freeze for allies for 1 turn, and at level 10 he gets a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn.

Furniture

Once you pull Malleus, you can make his tsum! It needs 10 wood, 16 cloth, 20 Unique Paint, 2 small Chartreuse crystals, 6 medium, and 12 large.

DUO Magic + Buddy Bonuses

His DUO Magic Partner is Trey with a minor HP + power boost. His other Buddies are Rook with a minor HP boost and Epel who gives him a minor power boost.

Build Guide

In order to Groovy Malleus, you'll need to get him to power level 40 and vignette level 3. Groovying doesn't use up Thaumarks, but it will cost 5 Dragon candy. As for uncapping, he'll need 0-12 SSR Awakening Perfumes. Each uncap costs 3 Perfume, so the more copies you pull, you'll be using 3 less perfume.
Each spell needs 351 notepads, 253 textbooks, 111 grimoires, and 318,000 Thaumarks. Spell 1 needs these in blue items, spell 2 needs gray, and spell 3 will need red items. In total, that's gonna cost 954,000 Thaumarks.

Alternatives

So let’s talk about alternatives to this Malleus. My recommendations would be Apple Boa Epel as the spell-match options, Platinum Jacket Floyd as a sort-of skill match option, Labwear Floyd as our SR budget option, and Swimwear Azul as the R budget option.

Final Thoughts

Malleus is a phenomenal defense unit. His HP is insane, he's a healer, AND he has nullify freeze. While yeah, that last skill makes him a bit more specialized, considering it's on spell 3, I don't think it's like, boxing him in too much. He still has healing and a lot of HP to be a great healer/HP padder.

Macaron's Special Notes

I used this Malleus a lot. And I mean a LOT. I have some good Trey cards on JP, so this Malleus has quickly become a go-to for battles because 1) healing and 2) very easily triggerable DUO Magic for me personally. I have Dorm Trey on JP, so I tend to use them together all of the time.

Arcane Combat Drills with Trein Guide

Overview Okay so. For some reason we’re getting another Arcane Combat Drills event. I can’t say that I like this at all, but unfortunately, it is what it is. If this isn’t your first rodeo, feel free to skip the rest of this paragraph and go straight into the map details. So this event has maps with tiles on them, and those tiles have a battle. If you’ve played through chapter 7, you’re already familiar with battle maps. If you haven’t, it’s basically just a glob of battles to get through with a final boss, Trein, at the way end. In order to get to Trein, you have to work your way across the battle map, beating every battle on every tile you pick. These battles all require a victory, so they all have infinite turns. If your team loses a battle, you have to pick a new one and go back into the battle. The enemies’ HP doesn’t reset though, so that’s nice. If you get an enemy down to 10,000 from 40,000 but lose, in the next attempt the enemy will have 10,000 HP still. On...

Arcane Combat Drills with Crewel Event Guide

Intro So we are unfortunately back at it again at Krispy Kreme. If you’ve been here before you know I don’t like these events. If you’re new, now you know. Although I do think the battle map events from this point on are a little more manageable, I can’t say that it’s like. That much of an improvement. Or that it’s overall a better experience. I’ve already explained these events in detail before, so if you already know what’s up, you can skip the next section to see the details about the maps. If this is your first battle map event, well first off I’m so sorry, but second don’t worry, I’ll explain the mechanics so you know what’s going on.  Overview So this event has maps with tiles on them, and those tiles have a battle. SSR Apple Pom Jamil

Basics Jamil is a SSR Attack unit. His max HP is 8,754 and his max attack is 7,506. I'm sure no one's surprised to see that while his attack is far above average, because of that, his HP is below average. Like I said earlier, he’s one of the strongest cards in the game at this point. Spells His spell 1 is Flame Blast, his spell 2 is Leaf Shot 2 and later Forest Strike 2, and his spell 3 is Water Shot 2. Exam Rankings So, how does this card rank for exams? I'd give him a B for flora, D for fire, and C for water. Skills For skills, he’s got nullify freeze, power boost, power boost again, and damage cut. On spell 1 at level 1, he has a nullify freeze for allies for 1 turn. At level 5, he gains a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn, and at level 10, it maxes out at a modest power boost. On spell 3, he starts off with nothing. You gotta get him to level 5 for additional skills. And when you get him to level 5, he gains a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn, and at level ...
