SSR Platinum Jacket Sebek Card Analysis

A green graphic with Sebek on it loaded with text talking about the card's basic info

Basics
Sebek is a SSR Attack unit. His max HP is 9,777 and his max attack is 7,112. His HP is below the all cards average and the SSR average, but his attack is way above both of those. And honestly, by a fair amount. Like yeah his HP is below, but I wouldn’t call it drastically below the all cards average. But his attack is wayyy about the all cards average. Looking at his stats compared to the SSR averages it makes a bit more sense but yeah uh his attack’s pretty high.

Spells
His spell 1 is Flame Blast, his spell 2 is Leaf Shot 2 and later Forest Strike 2, and his spell 3 is Void Shot 2.

Exam Rankings
When it comes to exams, I'd give this card a B for flora exams, D for fire, and B for water.

Skills
For skills, he’s got power boost, damage cut, curse, and damage boost. On spell 1 at level 1, he has a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn. At level 5, it’s modest, and at level 10, he gets tiny damage cut to foes 1 turn.
On spell 3, he starts off with a modest curse on foe 2 turns. At level 5, it’s major and for some reason he also gets a minor damage boost to caster for 1 turn. There’s nothing on level 10 for this spell which I really don’t know why they did that, but they did.

DUO Magic and Buddies
His DUO Magic Partner is Ace, who gives him a modest HP boost. His other Buddies are Vil with a minor power boost and Rook who gives him a minor HP boost.

Build Guide
So let's switch gears and talk about building this card. In order to Groovy Sebek, you'll need to get him to power level 40 and vignette level 3. Groovying costs 5 Lightning candy. As for uncapping, he'll need 0-12 SSR Awakening Perfumes. Each uncap costs 3 Perfume, so the more copies you pull, you'll be using 3 less perfume.
Now we got spells. Each spell needs 351 notepads, 253 textbooks, 111 grimoires, and 318,000 Thaumarks. Spell 1 needs these in red items, spell 2 needs green, and spell 3 needs gray. In total, that's gonna cost 954,000 Thaumarks.
I know it’s not optimal, but my focus on building him would be unlocking spell 3 to get curse. It starting off at modest is really nice, but also it’s great that it gets to major. I know unlocking spell 3 is a pretty serious investment, but I think it’s worth it in this case.

Alternatives + Dupes
So what are some alternative units to this Sebek? Actually, there’s a lot of other Sebek cards that’ll work fine. My suggestions are Birthday Jacket Azul, Birthday Bloom Lilia, Ceremonial Robes Sebek, and Tsumsitter Sebek.

Final Thoughts
This Sebek is nice. I can’t say that he’s like, disappointing in any way. I don’t have him so I can’t personally attest to him. His skills are a bit basic, but he does have four of them so that makes it a bit better for me. That and his attack stats is nice. I mean really, I just don’t have any serious complaints about him.

Arcane Combat Drills with Trein Guide

Overview Okay so. For some reason we’re getting another Arcane Combat Drills event. I can’t say that I like this at all, but unfortunately, it is what it is. If this isn’t your first rodeo, feel free to skip the rest of this paragraph and go straight into the map details. So this event has maps with tiles on them, and those tiles have a battle. If you’ve played through chapter 7, you’re already familiar with battle maps. If you haven’t, it’s basically just a glob of battles to get through with a final boss, Trein, at the way end. In order to get to Trein, you have to work your way across the battle map, beating every battle on every tile you pick. These battles all require a victory, so they all have infinite turns. If your team loses a battle, you have to pick a new one and go back into the battle. The enemies’ HP doesn’t reset though, so that’s nice. If you get an enemy down to 10,000 from 40,000 but lose, in the next attempt the enemy will have 10,000 HP still. On...

Arcane Combat Drills with Crewel Event Guide

Intro So we are unfortunately back at it again at Krispy Kreme. If you’ve been here before you know I don’t like these events. If you’re new, now you know. Although I do think the battle map events from this point on are a little more manageable, I can’t say that it’s like. That much of an improvement. Or that it’s overall a better experience. I’ve already explained these events in detail before, so if you already know what’s up, you can skip the next section to see the details about the maps. If this is your first battle map event, well first off I’m so sorry, but second don’t worry, I’ll explain the mechanics so you know what’s going on.  Overview So this event has maps with tiles on them, and those tiles have a battle. SSR Apple Pom Jamil

Basics Jamil is a SSR Attack unit. His max HP is 8,754 and his max attack is 7,506. I'm sure no one's surprised to see that while his attack is far above average, because of that, his HP is below average. Like I said earlier, he’s one of the strongest cards in the game at this point. Spells His spell 1 is Flame Blast, his spell 2 is Leaf Shot 2 and later Forest Strike 2, and his spell 3 is Water Shot 2. Exam Rankings So, how does this card rank for exams? I'd give him a B for flora, D for fire, and C for water. Skills For skills, he’s got nullify freeze, power boost, power boost again, and damage cut. On spell 1 at level 1, he has a nullify freeze for allies for 1 turn. At level 5, he gains a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn, and at level 10, it maxes out at a modest power boost. On spell 3, he starts off with nothing. You gotta get him to level 5 for additional skills. And when you get him to level 5, he gains a minor power boost to caster for 1 turn, and at level ...
